Our friend and loved one Jennifer Roderick passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004. Jennifer had been hospitalized at Oregon Health Sciences University for several weeks and was in the Intensive Care Unit since May 24th.

While Jen was in ICU, plans moved ahead for a live-donor lung transplant. Twenty two generous people volunteered to be donors for the operation. Jennifer's condition improved throughout the week, and by Friday, May 28th the transplant surgery was scheduled for the following week in Los Angeles.

Sadly, Jennifer's condition rapidly deteriorated on Saturday, May 29th, and by Sunday morning it had become critical. Jennifer's family was by her side when she passed away at 12:15 P.M.

A beautiful memorial service was held for Jennifer on Thursday, June 3rd at West Linn Lutheran Church. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Jen's life and her legacy.

Jennifer was a remarkable person who touched everyone she met. We love and miss you, Jen, and will never forget you.
